On Sunday Morning,
January 4 at about 5 AM, our Windows Web Server underwent one of those “Windows Updates” that we all know and love so well. :o) Unfortunately, during this Update, the Server developed a ‘Windows Operating System Error’. I’m sure we’re all familiar with those too, aren’t we!
Our Hosting company, Peer One, decided it was necessary to re-load Windows Server onto the machine. Since this web server has been running faithfully without any down-time for more than four years, but was getting a little older as computers go, we decided to take advantage of this opportunity to build a brand new Web Server for Worldwide Brands.
So, Peer One is now in the process of working with us to build a bigger, better, faster, more efficient Worldwide Brands Web Server to handle your needs for the next several years into the future. While this represents a slight inconvenience for a couple of days, it is overall a great benefit to all our Visitors and Members. So, please “pardon our dust” as we build a new, faster, better Worldwide Brands Web Server. We expect it to be fully operational by Tuesday, January 6 at the latest, and look forward to seeing you back here then!
