Wholesale Clothing to Sell Online

Clothing is already so highly saturated online, that it is very difficult to make a profit selling these types of products. We highly recommend against it, unless it's a very small part of your chosen niche area. So many want to sell clothing online, but fail pretty quickly once they realize that they 1. Can't earn any profit 2. Don't get any traffic and 3. Competition is too big to pay for advertising.

1. Many wholesale clothing vendors will not allow online sales by anyone. They only sell their products to stocking brick and mortar stores, and those stores are allowed to sell those brands online. This will allow them to check more easily for knock-offs. They WILL shut you down if you are selling their brand without permission.
2. Most are not looking for additional retailers. They feel that oversaturation is a bad thing, because retailers will be constantly trying to it drive down their prices, which causes a price war. This is not good for the retailer, and absolutely not good for the brand owner.
3. Clothing & Shoes are the highest returned products online. It is not uncommon to see a 30% or more return rate for products purchased online, but wholesale clothing is closer to 40%. Because of this high rate of return, brand manufactures require their retailers to purchase in bulk and order different sizes and colors of the products to handle their own returns and exchanges.
