Hi Everyone,
Wow, what a whirlwind the last couple of months have been! We have launched our new product, The Whole $ale, I attended the Affiliate Summit, we are in the throws of site redesign, we have joined the world of social marketing…and the list goes on.
In the last Newsletter I promised you that we would have some more videos for you to send your visitors to. We are currently working on giving you the ability to embed our videos onto your site so that when a link is clicked from within the video your affiliate id cookie is set. This project is going to take a little while for us to get up and running, but we are making this one of our top priorities. For right now though, we do have some links that we think you’ll find useful.
We have just created a page in which Chris Malta, CEO and Founder of Worldwide Brands Inc gives 10 Wholesale Tips via video. This page is linkable with your affiliate id. These are all YouTube videos; so if you would like to, you can embed the code into your own site. When doing this we suggest that somewhere around the video you place a link to Worldwide Brands that includes your affiliate id; you want to make sure to get credit for sales that come through, don’t ya? ;o)

Holidays Trends 2008 - This trending video will show you exactly what products and categories will be hot sellers this holiday.

Amazon Video - We teamed up with Amazon specifically to create a video to help our customers achieve maximum selling success on the Amazon platform
Status Update: This video series is currently in wrap up. Our team is putting the final touches on the video and then it has to go through Amazon’s approval process. Once that is all done we’ll have the video available for you link to.

Yahoo! Stores Video - We also shot a video with top Yahoo! expert, Shawna Fennell to teach our customers how to get the most out of their Yahoo! store
Status Update: We are currently removing bloopers. This one will take a little longer to get to you.

Trade Show Sourcing Video - In this video, we walk you through effective trade show sourcing for online retail
Status Update: This video is currently also in the wrap up phase of production and we’ll make it available to you as soon as possible.
We have also created some video tutorials that you can link to. This page has all of the Worldwide Brands Product tutorials.

I can never say enough about how great the Affiliate Summit always is. It was such a great opportunity to meet our affiliates, talk with people in the industry, and meet with companies who have solutions available for what we want to do. – I got the idea for how to provide video to you through one of the OPM’s (Outsourced Program Manager) that I met. :o)
The Affiliate Summit PowerPoint presentations are available to you to look at when you go to www.slideshare.net/affsum/slideshows. They have also made the videos available to anyone who would like to watch them. Click here to go to the Affiliate Summit site, provide your name and email address and you’ll be sent a email which will require your confirmation in order to receive your login details. The videos are not all posted yet, so you'll need to check back every now and then see the added videos.
One of my favorite presentations (they were all excellent) was the one by Jay Berkowitz of TenGoldenRules.com. In his presentation Jay spoke about - what is working for businesses, the social media tools that he recommends, affiliate trends, advanced tips and tricks, and SO much more. His specific presentation is also available at Slideshare.com, so be sure to check it out.
We are actually in the process of setting up a Webinar with Jay to offer to our customers and affiliates so stay tuned for more details.

| How to track sales and commissions from recurring billing |
When viewing your reports from within your account, take a look at the Transaction History Report. You will now notice that we have provided you with the Customer ID number. All the payments from the recurred billing will have the same Customer ID number. So, if you generate a sale on October 1st in which the customer chose the recurring billing option you will notice that on Oct 1st you'll have a commission for the first payment $99 with a customer ID number. On November 1st, December 1st, and January 1st, 2009 you will see the remaining 3 payments of $133 come through with the same Customer ID attached to each sale.
Remember that if a customer asks for a refund within 30 days of the sale they will get a full refund, and hence your commissions will be adjusted accordingly. After 30 days the first payment of $99 is not refundable, however the remaining 3 payments of $133 are fully refundable within 60 days from the purchase date.

Affiliate Agreement Update |
The Affiliate Agreement has been updated. Please note the changes that have been made, they appear in blue text.
With the release of the higher price point product (The Whole $ale), it was decided to increase the minimum low payout limit from $75 to $125. The $75 limit just meant that you would have to generate more than 1 sale in order to receive commission. However, the new, higher priced product lends itself to a commission of over $100, therefore we increased the low payout limit to reflect the same goal.
