Day 1: A State Sales Tax ID

The first thing you should do for your EBiz is file in your State for a Business License.

You can file for a DBA, a Sole Proprietorship, an LLC or a Corporation, depending on the level of protection you want for your personal assets.

AFTER you form your Business in your State, you use that paperwork to get a State Sales Tax ID. Without a Sales Tax ID, you CANNOT work with real wholesalers. Never listen to anyone who tells you that you don't need one. They're scamming you.
